The Baby Browning is a single-action pocket pistol in .25 Auto, and this one was made in 1968, serial 440479. The barrel is 2.2 inches and the bore is very good. Most of the blue finish is still there, though the metal shows wear, and the overall condition is very good.

At 2.2 inches of barrel this is about as small as a pistol gets, and it slips into a pocket where nothing else will fit. North Carolina buyers take it home after the ordinary dealer transfer: no state permit, no waiting period, a Form 4473 and a NICS check, or a valid North Carolina concealed handgun permit presented instead. Many will buy it as a Browning collectible rather than a daily piece, given its age and the small cartridge, and the worn blue is honest evidence of a pistol that was actually used.
