The Shield is the slim-carry answer for someone in North Carolina who wants .45 ACP in a pistol that disappears under a shirt, and the thumb safety on this version suits owners who prefer a manual lever on a carry gun. A spare magazine and the original box make it a complete used package, and the seller grades it excellent, which on a used carry pistol is worth noting. A North Carolina concealed handgun permit can take the place of the NICS check when you pick it up, and the state keeps no registry of the sale.
