WWII German Sauer 38H semi-auto pistol .32 Auto ATX

A WWII-era Sauer 38H in .32 Auto, circa 1943, with a 3 1/2-inch round barrel. Serial number 445379. Most of the original finish remains, with pitting noted on the right side of the slide. Both slide and frame are stamped with the eagle over N proof. The grips show handling wear and the right grip has a crack. The action is smooth and functions as it should.

This is a German military pistol for the North Carolina militaria collector, and the condition report is specific enough to buy from: finish mostly present, pitting confined to one side of the slide, one cracked grip panel, mechanically sound. The eagle over N stamps on both major parts are recorded, and the 1943 date places it in wartime production. It is a collector's piece first; a .32 Auto pistol of this age and condition is better suited to the display case and the occasional range outing than to carry.
