A Colt Trooper from 1966 production, chambered in .357 Magnum with a 4-inch barrel and a very good bore. It is a blued steel service revolver fitted with checkered wood grips that include a thumb rest, plus a G8 P trigger boot. The finish shows wear with most of the blue still in place, and the seller rates it very good overall. Serial number 58475.
A 4-inch .357 revolver is the all-round format: short enough to handle easily, long enough in the barrel to shoot well, and chambered for a cartridge with real authority. In North Carolina a buyer who wants a nightstand gun or a range revolver with some history gets both in one piece, and handguns are legal in the state's deer gun season as well. Older Colts of this type draw collectors, so the condition notes matter: wear to the blue is disclosed, the grips and trigger boot are described, and the bore is sound.
