This is a working field gun for a North Carolina hunter who likes a pump and does not need 3-inch shells. A fixed Modified choke is the general-purpose setting, the 28-inch barrel swings on birds, and shotguns are legal for deer in the state's gun season, which opens October 17, 2026 in the Northeastern and Southeastern zones and in November elsewhere, closing January 1, 2027. Hunter orange is required then. Being a used gun with disclosed handling marks, it is one to carry rather than collect.
