Browning's Citori Lightning is an over/under field shotgun, here in 12 gauge with 26-inch vent rib barrels and 3-inch chambers. The receiver is engraved, the metal is blued, the stock is checkered walnut and a single bead sits at the muzzle. Walnut and engraving give it a traditional look. It is a new gun shown with a stock photo.

Short 26-inch barrels make a quick-pointing gun for upland cover, and a 3-inch chamber handles heavier loads when you want them. In North Carolina shotguns are legal for deer in gun season, which opens October 17 in the Northeastern and Southeastern zones and in November in the Central, Northwestern and Western zones, so one Citori can cover both birds and deer in the same fall. Hunter orange is required during gun season.
