The BD-9 from Bird Dog Arms is a semi-automatic 9mm carbine built in Houston. It has a 16.5-inch barrel, an anodized finish and a 15.5-inch M-LOK handguard, with a Thril grip and stock. One 17-round magazine is included. We carry it in our used listings, while the supplier text calls it new and uses a stock photo, so ask about the actual grade before ordering.

A 9mm carbine is a range gun for most North Carolina owners: pistol-caliber ammunition is light to carry, the recoil is mild, and the long M-LOK handguard takes a light and a sling for home use. The 16.5-inch barrel and full stock put it in the rifle category rather than the pistol one, and it pairs well with a 9mm handgun so one box of ammunition feeds both.
