What Makes This One Different?

The original Intratec TEC-9, designed by George Kellgren (later of Kel-Tec), was a landmark firearm using a polymer frame. While innovative for the time, those polymer frames could be a weak point, especially with heavier loads or extensive use. Tim LaFrance of LaFrance Specialties solved this with a smart approach: registering the upper receiver as the serialized component. This KG9L uses a registered metal upper receiver with a standard Intratec lower. This avoids the potential cracking issues with the original polymer frame designs.

Condition & Details

This pistol is in excellent condition. It appears to have seen minimal use. All internal parts, including the bolt group, are intact and show normal wear for a firearm of this type. The metal upper receiver is clean and retains its original finish with only minor handling marks. The polymer lower receiver is also in very good shape.
