No, it’s a fixed FSB model per SOCOM specifications. If you want a free-float handguard, you’ll need to have a gunsmith remove it.
What maintenance does it require?
Standard AR-15 care – clean the BCG every 500 rounds, lubricate per the manual. The phosphate finish holds oil well based on our testing.
Can I use steel-case ammo?
Yes, but we recommend breaking it in with 200 rounds of brass first. After that, it cycles Tula without issues in our testing.
