Build and finish

The SSA-E uses Geissele’s proprietary heat-treating process on its 8620 steel components, with critical engagement surfaces hardened to Rockwell C50-52. The hammer and trigger interface features a squared geometry that reduces friction while maintaining positive reset.

Unlike many aftermarket triggers, the SSA-E retains the factory-style hammer spring design rather than using coil springs. This provides consistent ignition with military-primer ammunition while eliminating spring harmonics that can affect pull weight consistency.
